I go to the Philippines tomorrow so Ive got to find a place in Cebu to watch it.
I watched a game once in a place owned by an Aussie, think it was called all star sports bar.

Thanks mate, I'll look it up when I get there.

      • Well, I'm having a shocking year in terms of teams I want to win ending up losing. My preference this morning was for an england win as I'm sick to the back teeth of pamfers players having more success.

        • Good to see the Roosters NRLW players all play in the Women's RLWC Semi Finals and have fine tournaments - Jessica Sergis/Isabelle Kelly/Olivia Kernick/Keliee Joseph/Sam Bremner for Australia and Raecene McGregor/ Otesa Pule/ Mya Hill-Moana for New Zealand.

Be interesting to see what happens in both games

WRLWC - Australia vs New Zealand - 12:15 am AEDT - Sunday 20th November 2022
          MRLWC - Australia vs Samoa - 3:00 am AEDT - Sunday 20th November 2022

Unfortunately unless Penrith slip or others teams improve their 80 minute game and are consistent week in week out you will be seeing more of them again in 2023 including late in the Final Series.

They had the most representatives in the RLWC so it will be interesting to see if it will have any affect on them early and especially late in the season.

I agree with all of that KS. It's up to the other teams, including the Roosters, to get better.

                • Samoan and other "Haka" teams should not be allowed to get right up in the faces of opposition players when doing their "Hakas".
They should have to stay back and do their shouting war dances.

I don’t mind it but opposition teams should be able to respond which they aren’t unless they are another Poly team.

                    Anyway, Aus won!

                    • I can’t remember in the past any haka going face to face with the opposition as they do these days?

nice to see teddy nab a double.

                      • Right up in opposition faces, yelling and pulling angry faces like you want to kill them (was it Benji who once said that after you do the Haka you feel like killing someone?...anyway it was some Kiwi player.)

If spears are allowed when advancing right up to...then muskets (not loaded of course) should be allowed for the opposition players.

In your face is hardly social distancing...Covid is still present.

Right up in my face, I wouldn't be standing there, I'd be stepping back a couple of metres.

Our Gus said in an interview ...regarding an
Australian Indigenous team in the next World Cup...that he didn't think that separating Australia into Black Team and White team was a good idea.
                        I agree with him 100%.

                        • Great to see Teddy named player of the match. Another feather in his cap along with now captaining a world cup winning team

                            Tackling isn't social distancing either?

                            • The hakas where they get right up to the opposition faces, it's only a matter of time before someone gets over 'enthusiastic' and perhaps contacts one of the receiving team, then most likely will result in a reaction from the receiver (perhaps pushing the guy away), then it may all erupt ? ....they are aggro footballers after all, its not in their nature to just passively stand there and allow someone else to encroach on them and 'dominate' them !

it does seem a bit strange they can get within a centimetre doing this big aggressive performance and the opposition just has to stand there and “not be disrespectful”
