They will be weaker without Kickcow & Korasow.

We've lost SST & Verrills but picked up Cheese & hopefully Lodge resigns...Also have the best defensive centre in the game in Momo.

Yeah but everyone was saying similar things last yr when Penrith lost Matt Burton and a few others.....yet they improved this yr...much better team in fact.

Luke Garrner replaces Kikau and the panthers have a gun hooker in their champion NSW cup team in Soni Luke to partner Kenny. Who do we replace SST with?

Penrith have more than enough players to replace these two though so I don't see much change in the way they play.

They have a simple game plan which is relentless over 80 minutes week in week out - Obviously they have a superior fitness level to the other 15 teams to be able to play that way as they don't slacken off or drop their level.

Not sure that the signing of Smith suddenly turns the Roosters into so called second favourites - Jury still out on whether Smith is a hooker or a lose running forward/lock - Sure he was DM Hooker of the year but Grant missed a lost of footy in 2021-played 13 reg season games only.

Grant is a better hooker than Smith one has to say.

The Roosters have to learn to play 80 minutes week in week out - Can't be considered a true contender unless they eliminate the lapses and drop of intensity in games

We were one of the favourites behind Penrith this season and the Cowboys were tip to run last but it didn't turn out that way.

There should be an improvement on this season but that's if we have a injury free year and the players don't turn off during the game or give away stupid penalties.
We loose Teddy, Cheese or Keary with a long term injury than we might struggle, that the same with any team.
Penrith don't seem to get many injuries and when they do there are 3 blokes in every position ready to step up.

God imagine being Balmain and being bracketed with the Dolphins right at the bottom of the pile.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

              $7 for roosters on tab.

It’s worth checking other agencies if having a early bet, manly are $17 on one, but $26 on another.

Meh… I read into that too much during this year’s pre season and got carried away.

We have some big questions heading into next season - who will replace SST? And how will our forward pack go in terms of our depth developing further? ( Tuku, May, Va’a )

Seems pretty fair. Only us or Panthers will be able to win it

Yeah, unfortunately it's a story we've heard over and over again.

Are their odds on who will have a fully fit squad?

Lucky Penrith haven’t copped a real injury in two seasons.

We'll be a better chance when Cummins, Sutton and Klein hang up the whistle.
