I honestly can't understand Roosters supporters on this forum. STILL crying about Carney?! I can't possibly explain how much of an arsehole he really is. He takes us for granted, treats our club like shit, moves somewhere else after we finally gave him the boot and then, without even having a truly good performance, decides to rip as if it was all the Roosters fault for his horror 2011. Not only does Carney take a crack at our captain and coach, he decides to entrust these comments to the man who spent the last two years airing every one of his dirty little secrets, undermining him and the Roosters at every turn.

What do half of the morons in this forum do? They agree with his sentiments and lament his loss. Honestly, WAKE UP TO YOURSELVES.

I like this club 20x better becasue we are without stupid, unapologetic wankers like him. I like that we are young, we are talented, that we are building a good culture, that we lack the egos and arrogance that polluted this club for years. You can't accuse the team this year of not trying. They may have been horrendous at times, but they have always given it a go. I can't remember the last time this was the case.

Give this team a chance. Stop arguing over whether Carney should have gone and discussing the big name players you hope to arrive in 2013, and give this team some, support, belief and trust. I honestly think by the end of this year they will surprise us all.

same with mortimer, most on here were laughing at him and parra last season, then when he signs with us all of a sudden he is a top player.
I never once laughed at Mortein. In fact it was disgraceful how the kid was managed at Parra. I think he has loads to offer and will be a better player than you will ever credit him for. Hopefully he plays some consistet first grade at Easts and develops into a handy utility.

But thats OK. Youre mates with the sponsors so your opinion is clearly more valuable and you have the automatic right to judge others.

Now which one would you like...the chicken or beef yeeros?

And show me one similarity between Moprtein and Carnage.

Carnage has more talent in his little fingernail than Mortein and he simply can't be fkd doing anything that is not easy and doesn't involve alcohol and he can't blame someone else for.

Mortein has a heart the size of Phar lap, simply massive ticker, doesn't even know how to spell the word kwit and came here for a jumper and a game of footy. He got absolutely trampled by the big Souffs pack and directly run at several times in that match and he went back for more every single time.

Tell me which player and which attitude you would rather have.

              Tell me which player

                Cindy, good post.
I loved Todd for his football with us in 2010.
I loathed Todd when he was the alcohol media honey pot.

The problems he caused have mainly been rectified & hopefully shown those in power here the direction we need to go.
So far as I can see this seems to be happening.

With carney not placed on any curfues or drinking bans in cronulla there is no story when he is seen out. Well played by sharks. if he does get plastered and threatens or hurts somebody then im sure there will be plenty of coverage on it. they have acted on players such as seymor, bird matuia in the past.

You are right, Damien Irvine is a frikken genius, place no limitations on this maniac and then do a massive property development on a swamp to fund your bankrupt leagues club

Hey it worked for Gold Coast with Texas Walker and the Centre of Excellence!

But but....we are now nice boys, good wholesome boys and Andrew Ettinghausen types. No chance to win a comp but we don't care because we are nice boys. We can take our wifes to the footy and enjoy our nice boys trying their best, just keep an eye out on ya wifes.

Sure we cleaned out the A-holes however in doing so we cleaned out most of the real talent. But but we are nice boys.....

                            newsflash.

there are not many nice guys who are footy players. there are some but the overwhelming majority would be put in another category in my opinion.

but if it makes people happy to think we have angels in our team currently then so be it.

Of course, Buzz admits he was wrong. What a surprise.

Getting rid of Carney to satisfy the ego of a couple of twits who won't be there in the near future will prove the most idiotic decision we will ever make.

And of course Buzz is gloating.

Maloney is a poor man's Carney and Carney is better than SBW.

                                Quote:

"Carney is blaming no one else for his problems and issues of the past.

But truth be known, he would still be at Sydney Roosters if it wasn't for coach Brian Smith and skipper Braith Anasta.

He fell out with Smith over some derogatory comments that were made after Carney won the Dally M player-of-the-year award.

And it's common knowledge at the Roosters that Anasta disliked playing in the forwards and got upset when Carney took his five-eighth jersey.

Neither supported him when the club was making a decision towards the end of last season on his future at the club.

The Roosters' loss has been a massive gain for the Sharks." unquote
