@bondiroosters @sydneyroosters I did not have no crack at the roosters I have said it before I loved it there and would be still there but I made the mistake and they had to make a decision to keep me or let me go.I also don't blame any but myself

So at least Carney is acting remorseful and personally states he loved the club, unlike this Turdfield bs.
Good on him. When he left us at no stage did I hear him bag the club or say it was someone elses fault. This is all about the fool Buzz. I am glad Carney got booted because we gave him plenty of chances. From the way some on here go on you would think Todd is an 18 yr old, immature kid just making his way into FG. He is mid 20's. No excuse. I have no doubt rothfield has put words in his mouth and twisted the story to sound like he was bagging us. It bewilders me that Rothfield can be the 'head' rugby league reporter of anything.

I honestly hope he plays good footy and turns the corner. I just think our club handled it admirably and in a way that would please the majority of fans.

And yes Horrie that is bloody GOLD!

Two 5/8s in the one side???

Didn't pRicky say he picks players in their positions???

Not to mention his loyalty talk???

Not that it couldn't work, it may, and to be honest I'd be happy If Pearce missed selection. I reckon it would piss him off and he may just lift even more for our club, which is IMO more important than Oranges.

Thanks mate, that's what I saw on Melons site.

That said someone on Melons site said he'd Twatted that he never said what Rothwitt claims he said. So maybe it's time for the man, and that's what he is supposed to be a man, himself to make some comments himself and all the tanty chukkas and agenda driven arseholes on this site can Build that bridge and get the fark over it.

100% agree he's a talent, it was farking agony watching him implode and seeing where he was heading. But theticket is spot on, he's a self obsessed alco and the Nulla are holding their breath.

What makes me lol is that some idiots on this site believe his bullshit. Makes for good reading though. lol

For their own reasons they chose to try and fit a round peg into a square hole.

Or just maybe, they and the rest of the club were sick of the Roosters being dragged from one alcohol fuelled mess to another and decided to do something about it. Said round peg then decided (along with a couple of mates) that he was 'bigger' than the team and away he went.

Be serious now, they could have stayed at home and got totally maggoted and nobody would be the wiser but they decided they would run the gauntlet and they paid the price. It was almost like he was daring the club to sack him.

He will never be as happy anywhere as he was here in 2010, and he knows it.

The guy has a serious problem, Cronulla aren't helping him by hiding it, they are doing the opposite.

The club had to let him go and I'm glad they did. But I feel sorry for the bloke, on a sphere entirely removed from Easts.

Last year was the biggest waste of a season I can remember for us. We had all the ingredients in place to go there again but two blokes bludged and let the side down. Myles, whom I always respected as a player, ran dead on the field after he signed away. And Carntey never got his head into the season, sure he carried a supposed injury, but even that has to be questioned by what we saw after he got back into footy.

People can blame others, the coach or the captain or the CEO but the fact remains Carntey did not perform on the field, which is the exact thing he was paid to do. I couldn't care less what he did off it, if he bought his game each time he played, we'd have made the semis last season, it's simple really.

I feel no love for the bloke now. I don't wish him anything. He has wasted his talent so far and until he grows some nads and realizes his massive potential he will always fail IMO. The soft approach hasn't worked with the bloke, rarely does with anyone anyway, and I don't see it working at the 45yr old Virgins.

Rothwitts a tool. I can't for the life of me understand why you all read his tripe. Read the SMH sport online, it's not full of agendas and innuendo, it's basically footy articles. Sure there's Weedlers little column each week, but truth be known, he's right more often than not, cos he researches his sheet, he doesn't just make it up to sell clicks.

The only thing Rothwitt has going for him is he knows by writing his garbage the gullible will continue to buy and click. That validates his position sadly. I'm glad to say I have refused to go there, the tellucrapp, for a few seasons now. I haven't missed a bit of footy news, any sport news for that matter, it's easy to navigate and I don't get upset by the constant snipes at our club, cos they don't treat us that way.

I just wish the club itself would stop feeding those oxygen thieves. If we banned all Tellucrapp journos, or half-wits as I prefer to call them, from speaking to ANYONE from the club I bet other teams would follow our lead. In fact I bet the majority of the wider league community would respect us for such a stance. And it would piss Rothwitt and co off deluxe.

Can't hurt to try it, cos as it sits we are their punching bag.

                      GO EASTS.

Yeah yeah we know Buzz, it was how we treated him not his drinking that was poor Toddy's problem.

Manly support their players and win premierships. We alienate our players and win spoons.

Agreed our club has a mentally soft underbelly.

But I doubt WoManly would've put up with his performances on field last season. He dogged it or he wasn't mentally up to playing, either way it's not something any club would or should put up with.

BTW how did we alienate Carntey??? I'm not an insider so I don't know what goes on. On field he kept his position while clearly playing like a gimp. I know we stood him down for the drink driving thing. I wouldn't have done that but I'm not there and don't know the deals they had in place or the promises he'd made to the club.

Interesting that with Carney in the team and being supported we had something like 5 wins from 17 games last season. Since we 'alienated' him we are now 7 from 9. The previous form seems more like spoon winning form than the current form. But hey......keep the myth going. Even now, being 'supported' by the Sharks his form has been sound at best and certainly not worthy of the Origin spot that is being spoken about and you just know that its only a matter of time before it all blows up in his face again.

We supported Todd by offering him a place in our great club. Because of this, he won a Dally M, played in a Grand Final, won another international award and made the Australian squad as an Emu. It was his choice to go drinking with Darius Boyd in that offseason when they were on tour and that's when it all unravelled..
