Of course they will take a pay cut and come to play with us to win a premiership.

I think we have enough salary cap room to get this done.

We definitely need to sign Turbo as a back up to Teddy.

But in case both go down we also better sign Latrell & Papenhazen just in case.

Think I read somewhere that he gets injured a lot because his upper body is too heavy for his legs...or something.
We could make his legs heavier...in our
        high performance dept.

I think we're also forgetting about the forwards. Just read that Payne Haas and Spencer Leniu will be joining JWH, Lodge, Collins and Jake Turbo as well at the Chooks.

Haas will be the succession replacement to JWH and Leniu will be the back up ... just in case !

Manly just sacked Dessi. Dessi & the Turbo bro's would be a handy pick up for us.

Dessi could help Robbo with some Bulldog type contract deals with Billy Smith, Momo & Fletcher-Baker.

Seibold seems an odd choice after his Broncos debacle gig.

I would take Jake at least he plays more than 3 games a year and yes he is a Robbo type of player. We got enough crocks to last a life time and already 3 international fullbacks according to the world cup.

Then you've got to sack the pack entirely to fit them all in (booting out JWH, Crichton, Rads, Butchers, and the Cheese) and instead have a Nick Kouparitsis quality hooker and Shane Shackleton quality back rowers. Fletcher Baker would be our 'star' forward (at best case scenario). We'd then have garbage men and brickies labourers on 30k contracts filling the bench.

Then you'd spend all year whining that we leak 40 points a game, set an NRL record for unforced errors, and can't get over the 25m line before the 5th tackle.
                Correct.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

That's reasonable, build up his legs so they can hold the top half of his body without injury.
I don't do expensive anymore, been retired 11 years, the money/expensive spending doesn't last forever.

The brothers are on two million a year, not even our magic sombrero could fit them in.
I don’t see them leaving Manly, I think it’s just their manager flexing some muscle who also happens to manage Des.

Would we be able to install steel robotic legs on him through surgery?

We would need to put a clause in his contract for that to happen. They would need to be stainless steel so he could play in the rain.

Only then would he stay totally injury free & be worth his big salary.

                        Interesting take on Turbo

Turbo is 194 cm and 102 kg

Clint Gutherson -190 cm and 96 kg

Jason Saab - 199 cm and 101 kg

Dominic Young - 200 cm and 106 kg

Daniel Tupou - 196 cm and 105 kg

Ideal weight for someone 194 cm is from 75 to 94 kg according to the World Health Organisation - being a fit sports person he can be heavier than this although 102 kg for this height would be considered overweight for the average person.

I would swap Momo and Collins for Turbo and Jurbo, but we would need to come up with another $700K per year to make it happen. If you could get both Tom and Jake for $1.4 million. That's $850K for Tom and $550K for Jake

We seem to have a lot of players in our 30 who are being paid but never play first grade.
                            Lose 3 players on $240,000...and there's your $700,000

I'd even go as high as $1 on that !
Bennet would be like one of those buzzards in the old western movies squaking and circling from a great height over a seriously wounded cowboy.

But realistically just can't see any of the Turbo's ever leaving Manly !
