People creaming their pants over Mini should watch the game again. He was solid, as he has been so far this season, but we really lack another player with the ability to put on tries.

I though Pearce played well. In fact he has been much better this season. He is looking dangerous when running the ball and just needs someone running with him.
    What about our Defence maaaaaaaaaate???

I thought we belted those Bros. Forced them into many errors. And kept them to two tries, with their 1/2s and quick backs and big offloading pigs.

Just thought I'd slip that in after my thread about our defence was closed.

    The FlogPen .

    You know it makes sense.

      That's Madduke-esque.

We played with a higher intensity for 80mins, held the ball more often than not and had some second phase plays so it was a much improved performance on what we've seen this year.

But if Canberra are anything to go by we could come out next week and play like busteds.

        Chook.

my only concern is forcing the ball out the back. i think it was 50/50. 50 losses and 50 gains. it is good chancing the arm but you must have a support player/s around each tackle. marty maubs and jwh have the ability to do it properly and jake, antmitch, pearce to pick up the off looads

I think its impressive the way the boys responded after that 2nd half in Melbourne. They had a real go and got an unlikely winning result.

So what they only had 3 line-breaks all game, I thought the boys were still punching holes in there defensive line and it was clear the team on Brian's orders were more defensive in their approach the second half, I don't agree with it because protecting a lead is dangerous but they did it quite well.

I really hope they can go back to back this weekend against the Gold Coast it's a real big opportunity to go 4-2 which will give the young side even more confidence.

Massive danger game. I'll watch it expecting to lose so I keep my expectations low! It's happened so many times before..

Aha just saw a perfect post on LU:

Without the Birdman, they're vulnerable. But they have two of the fastest wingers in the game, KGordon and Dominique Peyroux and we have two of the SLLLOOOOOWWWWWESSSSTTTTT. Not to mention a geriatric fullback.Add to that

They let them past the first line of defence, forget about it.

                  Dominique Peyroux?

                  Perhaps you mean David Mead.

                  Peyroux isn't that quick.

Sometimes I wonder where you get this stuff from.

I did mean David Mead, I had Peyroux in the forefront of my mind related to Fantasy league.

Apparently has lost some of his speed, after injury, and is struggling to get it back.

Penalty count was 8-4 to the warriors 3 no trys against us atleast one of them was a try and people who think the warriors dropped the ball alot well the error count was pretty close 12-8 to the warriors...i think the way we started and played for 80mims shocked them and they just couldnt keep up. If the chooks play like that they"ll will win 95% of games........Im crowing!

Warriors dropped a lot of ball, but they weren't just dropping it cold. We forced errors with our defene a lot, with plenty of dropped balls coming due to big hits
