I cant understand how the wests tigers now get our good friday game vs the broncos at our home ground. Yes we lost it because of the clash with anzac day that year however then it should of reverted back to its original format.we had played this game for so many years and had a history as being one of the games of the year, always a big crowd puller. Everyone went to the footy on fri night then the leagues club as it was the only place opened as it was good friday and was always a big night there. The club should of fought harder to keep this game.
There is a game on at 4pm in the west with the bulldogs and souths then there is a game on at 730pm in the east and the nrl gives it to another team from the west?? yeh that makes sense

It sucks that the Dogs v souffs get the game.

The poor buggers nick name stuck so well that even some of the teachers couldnt remember his real name and addressed him as Bing also!
Funny how that happens, Ralph.
Our school bus drivers name was Cornwall. That was then turned to Cornballs, by the school kids. From there it went to just plain Balls.
Remember a new young girl getting off the bus on her first day at school and saying "Thankyou Mr Balls"
No one was sitting in their seats....all on the floor howling with laughter.
God, we were little sh#ts.

And ironically Bing was one I copped at a few stages. Remember that Bing Lee store that was next to Easts. He was my brother from another mother.
It's funny when I meet people from the forums. I'm sure most don't know my real name, I just get called backwards. But I must say it's very apt IMO.
I have a bad habit of forgetting people's names. So I just call people Jimmy, it's my standby. Funny thing is most people are too polite to correct me when they first meet me. When they get to know me and I explain why I do it most actually like being Jimmys. Like in Seinfeld, Jimmys not happy, Jimmys getting mad, Jimmys gonna get George.
I love Jimmys.
The FlogPen .
You know it makes sense.
