I cant understand how the wests tigers now get our good friday game vs the broncos at our home ground. Yes we lost it because of the clash with anzac day that year however then it should of reverted back to its original format.we had played this game for so many years and had a history as being one of the games of the year, always a big crowd puller. Everyone went to the footy on fri night then the leagues club as it was the only place opened as it was good friday and was always a big night there. The club should of fought harder to keep this game.

There is a game on at 4pm in the west with the bulldogs and souths then there is a game on at 730pm in the east and the nrl gives it to another team from the west?? yeh that makes sense

It sucks that the Dogs v souffs get the game.
Nah, just last year Mario - we finally won the match for the first time since 2003 in 2010 thanks to the Donkeys having key injuries and Toddy. The Good Friday clash lost a large chunk of it's lustre when they moved the show our west and another chunk when they added the second Friday night match from 2007, no issues with the focus being on a match out at the Olympic stadium, maybe even a Good Friday double header between 4 Sydney clubs out there would go good.

Then a news break before another NRL game ....shame its not Us V Donkeys on friday night though !
I'll be settled in my hotel room on the Gold Coast by 4pm so I'll just watch it then.

The dogs are playing, so that will be Our Lady of Fatweh.

Thanks stsae but I am little older than you may think and those ads were on when I was well in my prime. We had a kid in school who was a chinaman and we called him 'Bing'. Of course it was short for Bing Lee. Bings parents ran the tuck shop so of course we were always asking for them to add some spring rolls to the menu and we also said that we could not pay because we had lost all our travellers cheques. The poor buggers nick name stuck so well that even some of the teachers couldnt remember his real name and addressed him as Bing also!

                LOL.
                Funny how that happens, Ralph.
Our school bus drivers name was Cornwall. That was then turned to Cornballs, by the school kids. From there it went to just plain Balls.
Remember a new young girl getting off the bus on her first day at school and saying "Thankyou Mr Balls"
No one was sitting in their seats....all on the floor howling with laughter.
                God, we were little sh#ts.

Lol, I still have nicknames from school and footy mate. In fact I rarely get called by my given name ever. My problem is I have several so now I just answer to basically anything.

And ironically Bing was one I copped at a few stages. Remember that Bing Lee store that was next to Easts. He was my brother from another mother.

It's funny when I meet people from the forums. I'm sure most don't know my real name, I just get called backwards. But I must say it's very apt IMO.

I have a bad habit of forgetting people's names. So I just call people Jimmy, it's my standby. Funny thing is most people are too polite to correct me when they first meet me. When they get to know me and I explain why I do it most actually like being Jimmys. Like in Seinfeld, Jimmys not happy, Jimmys getting mad, Jimmys gonna get George.

                  I love Jimmys.
