  • Michael Oldfield

His name was thrown around a lot last year as a potential signing... he's actually off contract at the end of this year... has played some fullback in the past and has speed to burn... he's out of favour at manly atm and with the eagles having to fork out big money to keep what seems like every player on their roster, oldfield could be one to leave the nest... Does anyone think he'd be worth looking into???

He would be a great signing much better option on the wing then Carney and would be what we need pace in the back line.

Matt Duffie would also be good

Didn't he have a hit with Tubular Bells?

His name was only really thrown about by John/PIM from memory.

He is quick, and a capable winger.

Unfortunately, we would have to pay overs for him, and as fast as he is, he just isn't that good.

                Michael Oldfield?
He should stick to music "Tubelar Bells" was not bad and Moonlight Shadow a great song

I've seen him in action and think he'd worth be dropping 200 large on rather than 500 on Hayne who is mercurial at best.

Luke Phillips was the best fullback this club had for years - he was solid and defended like he was the Berlin wall but he was no show pony, like Hayne.

Would welcome MOldfield with open arms but as an accomplished winger.

The flying Fish from the Warriors who scored a Slater-esque try on the weekend is definetely on our radar as a replacement fullback! But will the Warriors release him from his contract? They have a plethora of good young talent coming through and they can't keep 'em all
