Train and Trial Players

Couple of interesting signings in regards to train and trial players, along with a host of Flegg players we have signed:

- Junior Pauga a winger from the Tigers who has played a few NRL games
- Dane Aukafolau from the Mounties, is a former centre who now plays back row and is a damaging ball runner
- Guy Hamilton a half from the Burleigh Bears, has been around the QLD Cup for a while now
- Tui Katoa a winger from the Dogs, is the brother of the sharks back Sione and has played NRL - Dogs had huge wraps on him early on however his career was almost cut short after an aneurysm was found on his brain. Only returned to footy mid last year
- Kurt De Luis a prop from Manly who played NRL for them this season

I saw this in yesterdays paper. It also mentioned the son of Mark Coyne, as another centre prospect. I can’t remember his first name.

James Coyne -Started at the Dragons in junior reps then went to the Sharks

Played mostly Ron Massey Cup for the Glebe Dirty Reds in 2022 as he was a Newtown signing only not Sharks NRL- 2 games for Newtown in NSW Cup- Glebe are Newtown's feeder club for NSW Cup

I would say a possible NSW Cup signing since the Roosters will need to sign a few players

Dane Aukafolau, whose nickname is ‘Danger’, finished on top of the try scorers list for the club with nine tries. The second-rower played every game in 2022 and also boasted 10 line-break assists and 33 off-loads.

Centre Tim Simona wasn’t far behind in contributions with eight tries in 17 games, five try assists, 27 tackle-busts and 12 line breaks.
