There's 3 byes, so we play 24 matches, and have 12 at home & 12 away. What did you expect?

Three 5-day turnarounds. First bye is pretty pointless that early in the season. No game in Canberra. Not overly happy with that

Origin game 1 on Wed 31 May, we have a bye just prior...then back it up with the dogs on Sunday 4th June.... (our home game taken to the Central Coast)
Origin game 2 on 21st June, we have the knights away prior without origin players then back up against the Raiders on Sunday at Allianz.
Origin game 3 12 July, we have a bye prior then back up against the Storm on the Sat eve at the SCG.

                Not too bad...

How do we end up with that draw and the Sharks end up with a far easier draw as they finished higher than we did last year.

Just a quick look but one of the 'easier' draws for us in recent memory

I commented on this last season but the draw always feels so disjointed. As an example we play three weeks in a row all at home , why? No home games in May as we play “at home” during Magic round. Call me old school but I used to love it when every second week you knew you were playing at the SFS and kind of got into a rhythm.

Definitely a first world problem !!

It’s because of the women’s football World Cup. Some big rectangular stadiums like Allianz and Suncorp are unavailable for 2 months in the middle of the season

I won't miss watching a rooster game, but love Allianz on a Sunday and there are only 2 sunday home games at Allianz.A big disappointment for watching at the new ground. And in a 27 week comp why do we play Penrith twice only 4 weeks apart? Surely a bit of juggling could make all rematches 8 -12 weeks apart?

Well it’s a better draw than this year but that would be pretty easy to achieve. I see the Eels and vermin get the handy bye just before the finals. The vermin’s is before the final round against us. How convenient for them. I’m also sick of playing them in the final round every year.
