I'd also suggest Taphua will get more of a run this season and decisions will be made re him or May going forward.
    Im confused.
You say Nat Butcher over Sitilli then you say Sitilli is the one who will be coming in?

Sitilli is the Roosters most potent attacking forward & he has a tackling efficiency of 90%, Nat has a tackling efficiency slightly better at 95%.
Sitilli can pull off some bigs hits where Nat I dont think hits as hard.
Just so Im clear here Steakface I have no problem with Nat Butcher I just think Sitilli is better.

'Coming in' as in coming in off the bench for short stints

Unfortunately for Sitili, he will be much less effective over the next 12 months too (at least) due to the knee recovery.

So you've got the choice between a continually improving exceptional defensive backrower who can also play middle and can lead a team

      v

An inconsistent backrower who reads the opposition attack poorly, and who shows flashes of attacking brilliance in patches, and has a bung knee.

I do like Sitili, but I can't fathom having him ahead of Nat Butcher in the pecking order.

We've got Radley and Gus in the backrow for attacking flash if we need it. And our backline is already overflowing with attacking options too. What we really need to win the comp is stiffening up of the middle, which the likes of JWH, Nat Butcher and Cheese will offer. I see Sitili as a wide attacking option from the bench in short stints against a tired defence - thats where he will offer the most.

His first touch on his debut when he burst through the line… straight through was that footwork or was that off a good hard run line?

        Please get back to me.

Like I said Steakie I have no problem with Nat but I rate Sitilli more. Robbo was picking Sitilli every week over Nat until Sitilli got injured, enough said.
          Lets just agree to disagree

I heard Kalyn and Croker have signed as they're keen to link up with Watson and nail a $$$ Spotify deal.

Just throwing it out there but we are thin in the centers/wings so i wonder if Sitilli is more suited as that edge running forward come centre. We have Momo and Paulo in the centres and 2poo and Sualli. Thats pretty much it. Toai is new and Billy who knows.

                    Perhaps these 3 added?

Ethan Roberts is in the Roosters 2023 SG Ball squad (Under 19's) -It was reported that he had signed a senior contract (Development or NRL 30 Squad one) although he is not listed in either category other than in the extended squad.

On another Note 11 years ago today (1/12/2011) that Big Arthur "Artie" Beetson passed away. I remember Mark Taylor during a Cricket Test Announcing it

That Ethan King has some serious wheels.

They would be in contention for development contracts at least one would say

Ethan Roberts as well as I mentioned - signed a senior contract of some description and reportedly was to be included in the Top 30 squad.

The Roosters have pulled off a key retention signing for the future, with young forward Ethan Roberts reportedly inking a senior deal with the Bondi club and turning down offers from cross-town rivals South Sydney.

Roberts has been in the Chooks system for several years, claiming Player of the Year honours in the club's junior ranks and forging an impressive pathway toward an inevitable career in the NRL.

The 17-year-old will be eligible to feature in Trent Robinson's side as early as next season and is expected to join the Roosters' top 30 list with a new full-time deal tabled by the tri-colours.

According to The Daily Telegraph, Roberts is posed to join Robinson's pre-season program at the end of this year, re-singing with the Roosters and turning down substantial advances from the Rabbitohs.

Slide Momo out the door and secure Walker, Rads and Egan Butcher. I'd like to see us keep Fletcher Baker, can see good things in this kid.

                              Chook.

Sheesh. Was going good up until the last comment. I don’t rate Momorovski at all, but if there’s anyone I rate worse than him, it’s Fletcher Baker. He’ll go join the Gold Coast Titans soon enough. He doesn’t run hard, he labours in attack, I’m just not a fan at all.
