  • A Blessing in Disguise': Time is on Tupouniua's Side

Sitili Tupouniua is in the midst of one of the most arduous and time-consuming recovery periods in sport, but the strike second rower is happy to bide his time.

The article also mentions Patrick Lane is back as the Strength and Conditioning Coach after a 1 year stint at the Knights.

Thank God for the Lane family.
    Thanks for the update King.

      Really feel for the guy.

The concern has to be that his main weapon as a back rower is his pace in attack.

Really has to work on his defence and become a more well rounded player, as that speed will be compromised you'd think.

Any timetable on his return? Because it looks like after the Angus incident last night we’ll have a vacant second row spot at least for the first couple of weeks of 2023

you are kidding right? Angus didn't strike the guy, shouldn't have even been a bin offence.

I hope Sitili has been doing his homework on reading in defence. He can put on a decent shot but couldn't read a picture book.

                Sitili is the energizer bunny.
His defence isn't as bad as some make out.
I hope he comes back from this bad injury as good as he was, but think he might be better off coming off the bench for 2023.

The illiterate have been taught to read.
Sitili can be ferocious in defence, and a weapon in attack, so the potential is there.

You are 100% on the mark.
He misses less tackles than Manu, Walker & others yet people on here think he is a liability.
The bloke is lethal & if he recovers fully he will definitely be in the run on side.
