The talent is there, just hasn’t really done anything with it yet. He’s definitely moved down the pecking order but he is also still only 20 so I’m not writing him off but he’s also not the issue when it comes to any 2nd rower deficiencies we have. You get rid of Whyte you’re only going to be able to replace him with another youngster on a similar sized contract.

It will also depend on what NSW Cup team the Roosters field as well for the ongoing development of these players.

Will it be a strong / average or somewhere in between side plus what players will be allocated to Norths NSW Cup side as Norths say they will still be welcoming back Roosters players into their team each week

On the Norths Site the following players are New Signings for the Bears for 2023 - All 5 are Roosters extended Squad players currently undertaking pre-season training with the Roosters NRL Squad.
      • Guy Hamilton
      • Kurt De Luis
      • Dane Aukafolau
      • William Fakatoumafi
      • Junior Pauga

Nice one! Is that Momirovski and Baker? (Karawalevu in the background for the first?)

I'm desperate to see the Cheese in our kit hahaha

If Momo and Baker go well we will be on the way to having a great year.

Crichton, Nat Butcher, Egan Butcher, Tupouniua, Wong & Whyte is as many good options we’ve had in a long time.
N Butcher is a stop gap 2nd rower. Better playing in the middle. Egan is a middle forward also. Wong is only a kid and Whyte was extremely disappointing for Norths in 2022.

So the only genuine second rowers we have are Crighton and Sitili, who won't be available for some time into the season.
