Regarding the off field stuff lets face it MP copped it from the media and other fans simply bcaz he played for the Roosters. Any other half playing for any other club wouldn't have.

Pearce, if memory serves me correctly didn't do anything illegal. He didn't drive under the influence, send dik pics to women, bash anyone, get caught with drugs, sexually assault someone, get involved in sex videos or break covid lockdowns to go to his hometown. Yet he was treated by the media as if he was their punching bag.

Admittedly I do need to update my avatar I've just always hated it when users change their avatars because I just associate them with their pic rather than reading their user names when browsing the forum.

Any suggestions for a beta cuck like myself? Something to attract the ladies?

I dont understand why some think the Roosters owe Pearce something.
Maybe he could offer some value right now that Watson is out for this season , but he wouldn't take his utility spot if Watson was fit.

Exactly. He was a half decent player at best who we wasted too many good teams with, a boofhead off the field and has been finished at NRL level for 5 years. Why anyone would want him anywhere near the club for any reason is beyond me.

It's not so much about owing Pearce anything as it is about him being part of the family.

There's nothing better than experiencing a premiership win but a close second to that is enjoying the careers of the people who come through our club and share in our love for the club.

I understand Pearce is a devisive figure and some on here based on that flat out won't want to see him again but I also understand those who do because he gave everything when he put on that jersey and whilst the break up was messy there's nothing but some petiness that can't be forgiven.

If he's sitting on a 150k contract in reserve grade passing on what he's learnt in his time in the game and setting standards at training for the youngsters then I reckon its 150k well spent, even if he doesn't play first grade.

I am not questioning Mitchell’s off field behaviour. His indiscretions are him being stupid so shouldn’t be compared to Lodge. I just think he has little to offer as a footballer these days and in 2024 he will be quite old. We don’t need him to mentor our young half when we have Keary and Cronk to do that.
