Is it bad that this does not bother me. When Watson gets the ball it always seems frantic and his team mates don’t know what he is going to do. With so many great ball runners in our team sometimes you just need a solid distributor I.e Turpin so Teddy, Manu, Walker etc can do their magic.

To an extent. But I also think he was starting to come good toward the back end of the season when he wasn’t having to fill in at 9, and had a more established role off the bench. Shame that whenever a player seems to hit form for us, it usually ends in an injury

Beg to differ Watson took tim eto blend in and as Robbos says "the Rooster way" thought his back end of season was brilliant .I for one was looking forward to more ...he was an untapped talent that whent for thecash and didnt progress at Newcs ..here he was learning quick to be a winner.

I’m glad it wasn’t Brandon Smith.

Well if we have 3 spots still to fill we may be after a utilility player on the market or Egan Butcher/Josh Wong to play that lock role giving Rads a rest. Turpin now a bench certainty as cover for Smith.

I really hope it's something minor i.e. knee hyperextension or a low grade strain (fingers crossed).
