Probably won't make first grade, he's a skinny 5'10 winger, not much of a loss with the boys we have coming through

Nrl physio confirms a total patella tendon rupture, 6 months before back on deck estimate. Possibly harder to rehab than an ACL.

Have to think it is going to be highly unlikely that Watson will be available for first grade this season.

Yes it could be a 6 to 12 months rehab period and he is actually off contract as well - So hopefully that won't affect his retention as I rated him when he was with Chooks before going to the Knights

Opens to door for someone else to fill a bench spot on a permanent basis during the period he is out for.- Noting that Sitili may be back in May some time

he's up against it but there's still a bit of hope. chance for turpin to turn his career around but watson would be useful come the finals
