Correct. I just want to see less stoppages.

Our 4-0 win over Manly in the 2013 finals is one of probably the 10 greatest matches ever played.

What’s reportable? The bunker deemed Radley’s love tap/punch in the semis worthy of a report and a sin bin. I can see more controversy than ever. Bunker should not interfere with flow of play unless there’s an absolute head high or a spear tackle that the ref may have missed. If the ref saw it and called play on then it’s up to the MRC to adjudicate not the effin bunker.

          2018 GF was better.
2002 Elimination final against Newcastle was also better IMO.

2002 yes, disagree about the 2018 GF. It was great from a roosters perspective but was over as a real contest at half time. The 2019 Prelim was good too, real edge of your seat stuff

Hmmm the one thing that they seem to hammer us on regularly. Wouldn't want to show them up for some of the ridiculous bee's d**k offside ones they blow on us at times.

Also they still have "discretionary" (hehe) 6 again phantom calls up their sleeve.
And the 'discretionary' deliberately locking the ball in the scrum rule. Is it locked if it's under foot or between feet?

1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I assume once the ball passes the second rowers it won't be able to be trapped by the lock Rugby style so either the lock or half will have to pick the ball up.

I reckon myself they should bring back the ability of the marker to rake the ball back in the play the ball and the ball carrier to be able to play the ball forward. i.e like Fittler's try below

If they want to improve the game V'Landys and co should take a look at any rule book that existed before they started to change them

"The bunker will only intervene if foul play is deemed reportable".

EVERYTHING these days is deemed reportable. So if a player lays down, this will be rewarded with a penalty, plus player on report +- binned.

So diving will remain an effective tactic for those coaches and teams who are ok with using it.

What would have been lovely was the following - "If on review the bunker deems the player has taken a dive, he will be binned and his side penalised". The shame of having to leave the field in this manner would quickly get rid of diving as a tactic.

The Referees and or the Bunker are not doctors, they can’t be sure if a player is actually injured or not. To get rid of this practice out of the game , it can only be driven by the players themselves one would say.

Football though have Yellow Cards for alleged dives and the player in question can be warned or yellow carded - If a match is reviewed and a player is caught, they may receive a one match suspension.
