TODD CARNEY struck a nerve at the Roosters with his comment that he's happy being at the Cronulla club because the Sharks are treating him like an adult. It's understood that hurt Roosters chairman Nick Politis in a big way - he took Carney under his wing and stuck by him when plenty of others at the club did not want to know him. He was the last one to agree to allow him to leave the club. Carney is quietly fuming with the way his career finished at the club. If his real thoughts ever come forward, it will cause a much bigger storm.

The Anasta part of the article is interesting. If Smith really thinks he is better suited to the forwards hopefully that means we'll see him there sooner rather than later with Mortimer to 6.
