soon this thread will rival the old henson park thread on the old wall at this rate. no doubt about it, toddy is an attention grabber. i honestly don't know what headline to expect from him next - perhaps he will come out ian roberts style?

when do we play buzz's bogans? remember 2002 when they were coached by Ando, and we just kept beating them in the later rounds and the finals? that was the closest they got to a GF since 1973 (not counting the superleague sideshow comp), and we snuffed out their chances.

I am looking forward to that game - everyone in the media is talking up gummies as the second coming, while we are apparently extremely arsey to have won a single game. if we don't get penalized out of contention, hold the ball, we may upset them, ideally with Braith putting on a blistering display scoring 3 tries and making Todd (and Buzz) cry. Well, maybe that should be my last beer for tonight!!

TODD CARNEY struck a nerve at the Roosters with his comment that he's happy being at the Cronulla club because the Sharks are treating him like an adult. It's understood that hurt Roosters chairman Nick Politis in a big way - he took Carney under his wing and stuck by him when plenty of others at the club did not want to know him. He was the last one to agree to allow him to leave the club. Carney is quietly fuming with the way his career finished at the club. If his real thoughts ever come forward, it will cause a much bigger storm.

I still cant work out why anyone agreed to let Carney go.

Everything that was ever written or reported about Carney was just to fill in the gaps for media reports. It was just all hollow media crap that the masses believed.
He is no different to many others at the same age. People for some reason are more interested in media dramatisation then the guys footy ability.

It wouldn't surprise me if the Sharks made the GF this year

Just on Carney, the bits I've watched of him, he still doesn't seem to have that bounce in his step and look of enjoyment about his footy that he did back in 2010. I think maybe all the press he receives is finnaly starting to weigh him down.

Mickey I think the real problems began with Carney back in April 2011 when he was 'injured'? and was meant to be visiting his mother in Goulburn rather than travelling to Gosford to watch the boys play. Instead he didn't go to Goulburn, didn't bother to make his way to Gosford and instead went on the piss with Watts who ended up being charged with domestic assault. All of which caused Carney's 'minder' Roger Fabri to be punted because Carney had given him the slip.

That whole scenario upset some members of the squad more than it did others and started divisions in the playing group. I know personally that's when I started to question whether Carney actually wanted to be part of the Roosters club. And it just went downhill from there.

You can only give a bloke so many chances.Canberra gave him too many,he continually lied to our club and breached his final warning.We had no choice but to stop the grog rot in the club.
