They do play a state based Women's Premiership comp before NRLW.

The NRLW players would love to play more games - The NRL Determines the Length of the Season and not the Players.

Hence why they sign only 3 or so month contracts for NRLW which are single season ones - unable at this stage to sign multi year contracts hence why so much player movement occurs.

In 2023 they play a 10 round State based Women's Premiership comp pus 2 weeks of Finals then a 9 week NRLW Comp plus 2 weeks of finals - 19 regular season games plus finals.

If playing for teams that play in Grand Finals in each of those comps they could play 23 games and if you add in the 2 SOO games that adds up to 25 games the Women players could be playing.

Why don’t we just get rid of the nrl all together and let the players run the game like they want to they can vote on all changes and majority wins… I’m sure the game will flourish for many years to come under this model.
