Excellent news. If he can build on the form he showed in 2022 he will be a massive addition. We have an impressive front row rotation now.

Only 1 year I would have hoped for longer than that.

Might be waiting to see what happens with Jared, and also if his attitude and performances stay at the great standard he set last year.

I was sceptical when he was signed but he couldn't have been more impressive in his 10 or so games for us. Robbo just may be the coach he needs for him finally reach his potential. He has too much ability to be wasted through undisciplined brain snaps that has marked his career.

Im not concerned about it only being 1 year- if he delivers he will be rewarded

He certainly impressed last year! Hopefully the three main pigs can stay fit/injury free all year. SST gone will be a big loss in our rotation.

Was sensational for us when he came in.

Is a genuine big aggressive pig who will benefit enormously from a pre season at our club and the lure of being Jareds 'replacement' as a leader moving forward

Maybe, Jareds contract is up at the end of the season. Always expected he would retire as he has been playing with injuries for a while now.

Maybe Jarred’s replacement has already been signed for 2024.

Quickest play the ball in the game, for a prop.

Still on warriors money for this year, hence easy one year deal with us.

JWH definitely deserves to go out with a fourth premiership ring. Our best prop of the NRL era

Yeah I think 1 year suits him at this stage.

Last year he had the form and attitude of somebody who deserves to be in the Kangaroos IMO. He was VERY impressive!

I'm hoping he keeps it up. However, I don't think he's won our long-term trust yet. If he plays for NSW this year and continues his run of form then I reckon conversations about a long-term deal will be inevitable. Particularly if he isn't getting suspended like JWH and Collins! (He seems pretty clean on-field? Whereas JWH needs to stop using the old bull-bar and Collins needs to stop coming in around the knees as a 3rd/4th man... if Lodge remains suspension-free then that's a tangible benefit over the others!)

Feels odd calling him clean but his technique and attitude on-field seem to be top-notch. While I'm not one of the selectors, IMO he'll play for the Kangaroos pretty soon if he keeps up his late 2022 form! If/when that happens, we're gonna wanna hope he's already signed the dotted line rather than hitting the open market as an incumbent Kangaroos / NSW prop IMO...
