RTS agent hasnt ruled out a move back to the NRL for next season but he has ruled out any discussions with our club. This is from Paul Crawley today.


There is definitely some merit behind it it just won’t be us.. probably the dolphins maybe?

Somehow I doubt Crawley has any inside info on anything especially when it comes to the Roosters. I discard anything he or Hooper says.

I agree with you mate he is a dud most of the time.. on this occasion however he approached the agent and was given an answer.

As someone stated early. Only way I see him landing in the East is if Sualli’i leaves in 24. You would imagine the NTL would put a minimum price on his services. So we wouldn’t be getting his services for $120k

Would be shocked if it happened as I can see Warriors and Dolphins throwing huge coin at him in 2024 as they'd be desperate.

I would love to see RTS come back and sit on the wing as a veteran and win a few comps with us. I think it has some merit only as a contingency plan for if/when JS leaves.

Also, there should be no negative feelings about Roger leaving us given he was offered guaranteed fullback spot for his hometown club and offered 1mil a season to be the franchise player. He is a great Rooster and would be an honour to have him back, although only for a fraction of his asking price.

RTS- class on and off the field. One of those rare players who i found hard to dislike even though he left us.

I know he won a Dally M and starred for the Warriors in most games but i still think he would have gone to another elite level if he stayed on.

Id love to see him back in our colours but he will command big dollars and want to play in his best position-that being fullback. Roosters aren't in a position to pay him big dollars nor do we need another fullback- Teddy and either Josephs are fairly good back ups!

Imagine what RTS could have achieved had he been a career Rooster?

Funny how things work out, if he had of been a career Rooster then we probably would never have had Teddy !

I remember panicking when he left for $$$. Using the club to up his profile and pay packet really backfired for him and we won many premierships without him. I say to him go look elsewhere. He’s not a Verrills who was forced out for the sub standard bad character of Smith who really is only coming for the $$. Our best players seem to be our most loyal ones. Coincidence? Think not.
