Greg Alexander & Robbo are rarities but 95% of players & ex players are boofheads & without the boofheads there would be no game.

Give the commentary jobs to the clever 5%. The boofheads who watch might learn something.

Mark Carroll is by far the worst commentator i have ever heard, it's like listening to the old leathery brickies talk at the pub after 20 schooners....

Carroll only ever talks about himself and reminisces about his playing days.

Bit of a strange one as both De Luis and Smalley and several others in the Squad are North Sydney Bears Signings - Smalley did play 2 NRL games for Manly in 2022 and De Luis played 12 NRL games for Manly during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.

I did here though that the Roosters NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg team were playing Trial matches against St George - Illawarra down at WIN on Saturday or Sunday -Maybe why these players are in the squad instead of Roosters contracted players

Gordon Tallis makes me more sick.
What a very unfunny looking Neanderthal cat he is.
After the game they intentionally interviewed a young bloke by the name of Tallis Duncan who the Vermin purposely poached from us soon after we signed Sualli.
Gordon quizzed him about his junior background and got aroused the second he revealed he's a Roosters junior.
Couldn't help himself by poking fun at our non existent junior base.....farkwit!

Squad update,

Lindsay Collins, Luke Keary, Joseph Suaalii and Daniel Tupou have all been withdrawn from the team.

Kurt De Luis and Drew Hutchison move from the bench into the starting side, while Alfred Smalley and Allan Fitzgibbon have been drafted in from outside the 28-man squad named on Tuesday.

Interested to watch this game, although have never seen some of the players before. Except some rust.

Keen to see some of our young forwards like May, Wong and Va'a and gauge where they are at. All promising.

Thinking fans will get excited about what Cheese may bring to the team.

I’m not really sure how this preseason comp works but it looks like this next game vs. Manly is for 100k. If the team that wins can get maximum bonus points then the competition is over Friday night…..is that right?

well what i got out of the trial was the 28 winger Tuipulotu has a set of legs on him. Pauga doesnt too slow jnr. Man of the match was Tyrell May. talk about a work load. Brandon hits as hard as Victor. I can see those two challenging each other all year for hits. Sam looks fit and switched on and i think Sandon will be his halves partner in the future. Im liking Tylr Moriaritys game. tuff little hombre. probably out against Manly due to a rib injury

The points system is as follows:

• 12 points for a win
• 6 points for a draw
• 1 bonus point for 5 or more tries
• 1 bonus point for 5 or more line breaks
• 1 bonus point for 10 or more offloads

Maximum points available is 15 points - Roosters and Manly are on 15 and 4 on 14 ( Warriors/Bulldogs/Sharks and St Helen's) and Penrith 13 - so one figures the winner will be one of these teams
