Red, White & Blue Obsession

I don't know about you, but I find myself drawn to all sorts of things just because they are R,W & B. Is it just because they look great together? Nah ... it's a Roosters obsession. I recently had to change the deodorant I was using, because the old one became unavailable at my local supermarket. The one I was using was in a red container, with blue & white writing. Damn, I had to choose something else - so now I use one called "Bondi" 'cos it's the best I could find that had a Roosters connection.

So I got to thinking about all the things I've bought over the years that I chosse purely and simply because they were R,W & B. A few other examples are toothbrushes & toothpaste, *so many* T-shirts & polos, and my golf bag. I even ordered my former lease car in red just so it would combine with the ACT B & W number plates!!

I am alone in this? There must be a few of you out there who do similar, so, what have you bought, just because it was R, W & B or otherwise Roosters related?

I am nor obsessed with my Eastern Suburbs Sydney Roosters. I just cant stop thinking about them every single minute of every single day.

PS I did try that RWB toothpaste and I found it disgusting

I have owned a number of white cars over the years and I always had red and blue pinstriping applied, back when pinstriping and decals were more of a thing. A Roosters sticker would get slapped on straight away as well. It would drive the missus crazy.. Even now, when I see a car that is just that right shade of red or blue I picture it with Rooster eyes and mentally apply the appropriate GT stripes.

I also seem to have a disproportionate amount of RWB check and striped shirts in my closet.

I have great difficulty going into Bunnings because of their colour scheme. I try to get it out of my head but ,by the time I am at the paint section, I throw up a little.

Yeah, I moved on pretty quickly to one with just R, W & B packaging.

NE Patriots:
I follow them due to their colours and my love of the New England region.

Chelsea FC:
I follow them because of the hate for Easts. When I first moved to Britain my workmates asked me which football team I support. I asked them which team is the most hated. They told me Chelsea. A fan was born.

The Russian national flag:
I have a few of these around my property. They are as good as an Easts flag.

Not yet complete:
I just bought a Gretsch Falcon Rancher (all glossy white with sparkly gold binding). I am going to add some red and blue to the body, haven't yet worked out what exactly to add.
