Mind youse, it helps to be impossibly handsome so not for everyone. Look...trackies are fine..
Why the colours of your club are the same as the old enemy?

So do you agree that wearing Roosters jerseys to go out is a matter of bogans?

I'm from Sydney originally but have been in QLD 20 odd years. I'm a 3rd generation Rooster.
And no, Townsville is too big and a bit further north.

I recently had to change the deodorant I was using, because the old one became unavailable at my local supermarket. The one I was using was in a red container, with blue & white writing. Damn, I had to choose something else - so now I use one called "Bondi" 'cos it's the best I could find that had a Roosters connection.

So I got to thinking about all the things I've bought over the years that I chosse purely and simply because they were R,W & B. A few other examples are toothbrushes & toothpaste, *so many* T-shirts & polos, and my golf bag. I even ordered my former lease car in red just so it would combine with the ACT B & W number plates!!

I am alone in this? There must be a few of you out there who do similar, so, what have you bought, just because it was R, W & B or otherwise Roosters related?
I haven't read the remainder of this thread but my kitchen is red, white and blue. All the china patterns and dinnerware and mugs pretty much are red, white and blue. My sister went to Portugal once and bought me back oven mitts and napkins with roosters on them. She's made me some aprons also. Some of the dresses I have for Christmas parties and the races are red, white and blue and I won best dressed at our most recent Christmas lunch (I think that was only because I was in charge of the prizes, chocolate bags and restaurant bookings though..)

I use my Roosters picnic bag for work as its a good square size therefore good for the bus commute. Its a good talking point when I see people in the lift at work as we are involved now in NRL sponsorship. I also have a friend in the UK who sends me Roosters brooches for my collection. Have so many other items but those are just the ones that spring to mind.

Happy new season to everyone by the way.

You “support” the team from the eastern suburbs then say something is posh. Maybe at your western suburbs bbqs being decked out in football jerseys and VB Supercars merchandise is the proper attire

Actually I come from Rugby Union, a code played by private school boys in England and Australia. In fact, League is called the working class sport in NSW...

When I eventually sold that former red lease car, the guy who bought it brought a mate to inspect it with him. After going over the vehicle, he said to his mate "It's in good nick & it's a fair price ... you just have to get rid of that Roosters sticker on the rear window".

"No way" I said, "the sticker stays - that's a condition of sale !!"
