Anyway, for me the jury is still out regarding our mental strength. Of the games we won we played shit only for the other team to play worse. The Warriors game is an exception as we played our best game of the year but they were atrocious and their form has continued. I don't know if winning those games had to much to do with mental strength or a bit of luck playing shit teams.

Then you look at the game against the only decent team we have played to date. We had the Storm at half time. With a bit of luck we should have led them at half time. A couple of bad video ref decisions and the frustration of some bad refereeing calls showed on the players faces. A mentally tough team should not have capitulated in the second half after such a strong first half no matter how good the Storm are.

You need to understand what has happened in previous years to realise the "scum" are not the real cause of our problems.

It is far easier to blame Carney for 2011, than to realise that exactly the same thing happened in 2007 and 2009 when he was not there. We blamed Finch and Stuart for 2006, but they weren't there in 2007 and 2009. We blamed Freddy and Mason for 2009 but they weren't there in 2011.

The only thing I can say for certain about the "scum" is that we would not have made the 2010 grand final without a couple of them.
