I'm trying to understand what Crawley means by "It’s the elephant in the room that no one in rugby league wants to talk about publicly because of the powerful influences at the Sydney Roosters"

Who is it that doesnt want to talk about the injuries to Keary,JWH,Manu injuries and Crichton personal issues because of these "powerful influences"? Are the Roosters board going to send Luca Brasi around to any journalist who reports this news?

It seems to me that Crawley has just thrown together some information that's already been reported and made a nothing article of it

Crawley should report on the real elephant in the room- In 9 years at the Raiders, Ricky Stuart has missed the top 8 5 times- scrapped in the 8 last year and made 1 Grand final. In fact if you take away his coaching stint at the Roosters, Ricky Stuarts win percentage from 2007 to 2022 is a feeble 38.8%.

Don't get me wrong, i love his post game meltdowns after a loss and i appreciate everything he did at the Roosters.....but he really has sucked at his job in the last 14 years

Many of these League journos, especially the News Ltd crew of Rothfield, Crawley, Hooper etc, are lazy, low IQ bums.

Most of them are in their roles because they have mates / family / connections in News, not because they are any good.

Most of them have huge drinking problems.

All of them have very transparent agendas.

I don't know why a Crawley article is even worthy of a thread. I assumed everyone already knew whatever he writes is on par with what a drunk brickie's labourer would cobble together for an article.
