He got some of the facts right, listing the (minor) injuries to Keary, JWH and Manu, the unspecified personal leave taken by Angus, and Anderson's serious accident. But everything else in the article is conjecture and innuendo, implying there is some kind of crisis in the club. The "elephant in the room" comes from Crawley's imagination.
Keary's is a mystery as some are reporting "head knock" while others are reporting "facial injury". We haven't heard an official report from the club regarding the others either. And that includes Angus' situation. Evan Anderson's injury is not fully known.

Whilst not many of these problems aren't serious, they are starting to add up.

He has obviously blown up a few things to make the story more sensational, but not overly. I think we have a big problem with depth, especially in the forwards and inside backs which will be exposed if we get a few injuries. We have young forwards and halves with potential, but I doubt they are ready for first grade on a regular basis. We will need plenty of luck this year to win the comp.Last edited by NorfolkStreetKid; 02-16-2023, 05:40 PM.

As for our forwards, last weekend's trial unearthed a few more candidates. Only concern is second row. I still think Egan Butcher is better in the middle of the park. It looks like he's going to be playing more in the second row.
