it’s TC Robati from the broncos.. he’s been sacked and I wouldn’t call him high profile either

Yeah why is every player that makes a headline called ‘high profile’ or NRL star’? It’s really annoying and lazy journalism.

To sell papers or encourage clicks - but totally agree with you in that this is just plain lazy …

I'm trying to understand what Crawley means by "It’s the elephant in the room that no one in rugby league wants to talk about publicly because of the powerful influences at the Sydney Roosters"

Who is it that doesnt want to talk about the injuries to Keary,JWH,Manu injuries and Crichton personal issues because of these "powerful influences"? Are the Roosters board going to send Luca Brasi around to any journalist who reports this news?

It seems to me that Crawley has just thrown together some information that's already been reported and made a nothing article of it

Crawley should report on the real elephant in the room- In 9 years at the Raiders, Ricky Stuart has missed the top 8 5 times- scrapped in the 8 last year and made 1 Grand final. In fact if you take away his coaching stint at the Roosters, Ricky Stuarts win percentage from 2007 to 2022 is a feeble 38.8%.

Don't get me wrong, i love his post game meltdowns after a loss and i appreciate everything he did at the Roosters.....but he really has sucked at his job in the last 14 years

                      Never heard of the bloke.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I have to admit I have no idea who that is. The last couple of seasons I have really only watched Roosters games. I used to watch most matches but the result now is I have no idea who certain players are.

Call me sceptical but I’d say the elephant is the ‘supposed injuries’ to the players that prevented them being named in the new preseason comp.
By doing this he is pressuring the club and players when they play and should they get another injury especially Keary. No one would object to the stated ‘injuries’ to our missing players due to their respective injury history.
The odd one for me is why he notes Daniel Anderson. Possibly editorial pressure?

Just thinking about him and his Bennett and Ricky love is nauseating. Hope you’re feeling better now.
