We were a rabble in attack and defence last night...like we were in the first comp game last season.
It's nearly March.
Suaalii must be put back on the right wing where he starred last season.
He could tackle Garrick.
If Manu can't play, then Momirovski must take his place.
Hope Trent doesn't have any plans to sell off Momirovski.
This thread is appalling from top to bottom. The same guys whinging were the same guys saying we were as good as done when we were 5 and 5 or something in 2018 and the “is Tedesco the worst recruit” thread was made. Joseph Manu out. Our enforcer JWH out. Our halves and directors, Keary and Walker out. Crichton out. 5 genuinely KEY players not there (and there is more out injured as well). Add in Suaalii gone after 20 minutes.
I can’t believe the overreaction from this forum, it’s a trial for goodness sake.

Hutch wasn't alone though.
It looked like 17 blokes from Central Coast League's Club came across the road & put on Rooster jerseys & had a game last night.

Yes, let’s put Suaalii back to the right wing after not even 20 minutes playing in his new position in a trial. Yes. Genius.

For 5min they resembled a Rugby League team against a Manly team minus big names also.
I agree in regards to over reaction but FFS why can't we hold the friggen ball year after year!

Other take out is Sea Eagles could trouble teams this season. Outclassed us last night all over the park with DCE and Tturbo to add. Flanagan is one of the best footy brains in the coaching ranks and if he can work in concert well with Seibold they can make some noise.
You play how you train and last night our squad looked like strangers to each other. Slight concern given Robbos priority to start much better this season and not put ourselves in a position playing too much catch-up later. Some personnel to return obviously though.Last edited by rcptn; 02-18-2023, 10:44 AM.

i presume the boys have been training well so i'm not worried by last night but we can use it to our advantage. everyone has a plan until they get punched in the face. we should acknowledge that we were punched in the face last night, that while we've got a good team the nrl is a tough competition and there's no guarantees and we need to play well every week

I have to disagree, Radley was thrown a shocking pass and let the player know that was not good enough. Standards need to be set and maintained, sometimes this can mean tough words are needed.

The first half was pathetic. Attack was not straight enough and need some runners inside, not just across. Under 12's stuff really. Hopefully with Keary and Walker in the halves this will come. Tedesco needs to catch and pass, and leave the tap ons only when and if needed. Hutchinson scored a fair try, however, I knew the bunker would say no.
Why has young Fulton got a license to hit players high with no penalties forthcoming? He did it last year and JWH took offence.
It was only a trial, but jeez, just play footy boys, have some fun and get the basics right.Sickie Lame .... King of Bestiality

Chooks were terrible looked like they didnt want to be there ...Our young back were defensively really bad a few blokes out of tune including Teddy boy..some good things though the fact we nearly scored 4 in the first half when we were really shocking says there is plenty to come... Thought paulo might be a good signing but gee he was right out of wack last night . doesnt not deserve a wing spot first round I like the other guy in the second half on the other side went alright last week too.Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe

I wonder if the shoe was on the other foot and a teammate abused Radley for an error he made, if Radley would take it as graciously as the players he has verbally abused..
Somehow I don’t think so!
