well after taking the offseason off here ...i visited nz and was just settling in to watch chooks vs storm when the power bloody went out due to the cyclone ...anyways i got back friday , and watched that performance against manly , gee that first half scared me , we looked all at sea , i understand it was just a trial , but gee i was worried .

anyways hoping for a big season from the chooks ...cant wait , no predictions as to how well go but i hope were at least top 4 and in prelims / gf's again .

Guys what’s with all the over analyzing & reactions from a trial game , is it because it’s televised just like a regular season game or have you guys actually forgotten it’s a trial game with 5-6 star players out!!!. Seriously chill out guys we got this, trials are used to blow out the cobwebs & not show your hand to early.

Nothing to worry about. Many stars out. First Manly try absolute fluke from lucky bounce. Really only one try difference. We started too slow and they ambushed us. Second half we were more alert only let in one try. Lodge another JWH and Smith is improving. Overall good for trial without many stars.
