  • LMAO @ the scummy vermin

Evidently (according to Danny Weidler), the scum were planning to offer Joey S 2.7mill over 3 years if fatrell didn’t re-sign with them.
Gotta laugh, they ended up with the KFC king.
Would loved to have been a fly on the wall if they’d gone ahead with the offer, and listened to JS’ reply….
”yeah nah you muppets, you didn’t want me in the first instance and now you only come crawling back in typical deadfern style, when Im becoming a world beater at the mighty chooks….you can stick your $$$ right up your bottom”.

You gotta laugh. As if he would go back. If anything he may go to union for a few years.

Waiting til the outcome of the court case, which is in early March I believe, no fault stand down doesn’t apply, as the criminal charges if any, wouldn’t be over 10 years jail time.

The Chooks got under Souths guard to get JS only because the Chooks agreed to what Suaalii wanted which was a player option in his favour for 2023 & 24 not because Souths didn’t want him. Believe me mate Suaalii will do what’s right for him & that’s why there is a big chance he will leave the Chooks. Don’t think for a moment that the Chooks are the be all & end all for him.
JS has a lot to prove yet where as Latrell has already proved it.
Lets just hope that JS has a good year this year & stop worrying about Latrell.
Latrell is a proven game breaker let’s just leave it at that.

I think they made the call that they're gonna wait for the court outcome before deciding what to do.

I reckon the bunnies show interest in JS simply to up the pressure on Easts. It’s classic art of war stuff.

I hope they sat there for a month contemplating how much to pay, what to do if Latrell left blah blah blah and it was wasted time. Fine by me.

It's time for Suallii to show us more, sure he can score tries off kicks but I want to see some power linebreaks. ATM he's not in Mitchell's shadow.

I reckon it'd be because they want to buy him

You really think JS legitimately would play at Souths?

I never thought Easts would let Tuivasa-Sheck or Mitchell go.

Fatrell can also lose you the best chance to win a game. Ill discipline, attitude and laziness can cost a side as much as ability to break a game open. Suaalii hasn’t shown those traits.

I for one ain’t worried about Fatrell but as a “footy lover”, I think an ex Rooster can be an interesting topic of conversation.

                            100% correct.
Look at Suaalii's achievements & then look at Latrells achiements there is no comparison.

Yep, guess you’re right if by achievements you mean how much KFC one bloke can smash regularly.
Mitchell is a fat, arrogant, fullback wannabe - basking in ridiculously over-rated media hype and coverage.
He’s good, but he’s not THAT good.
As a fullback, I reckon he sits about No.5 in the NRL atm.
Lazy, with an inability to read opposition attack and direct defence for his team.
Im actually glad we let him go. He fits in well at deadfern and their scumbag culture.
