He’s good, but he’s not THAT good.
As a fullback, I reckon he sits about No.5 in the NRL atm.
Lazy, with an inability to read opposition attack and direct defence for his team.
Im actually glad we let him go. He fits in well at deadfern and their scumbag culture.

Mitchell is an absolute weapon and game winner. I don't think JS has shown he will be as destructive as Latrell. Not yet anyway. I don't think we have seen JS once create space or get into space - hard hit up yes, good in the air yes, but create or hit a hole not there yet. Right now he can jump and is a big body that isn't afraid to run very hard. I like JS and hope he stays he's got plenty of upside in him. Hopefully we will see what he is capable of by the second half of the season. Robbo will have him doing the basics only I reckon the first half the year to get his knowledge of the new position sorted first.

      oh and F#ck Latrell

Look at Suaalii's achievements & then look at Latrells achiements there is no comparison.
Don't forget to look at their age difference. It's silly to compare the achievements of a 25yr old and a 19yr old.

I mean, Momo has achieved a hell of a lot more than Suaalii. Just saying'...

Latrell at 19 was a very streaky fullback. Only playing there out of necessity and eventually replaced by a 32yr old Michael Gordon because he wasn't even close to being ready for the job.

How old was Latrell when he had won 2 comps played SOON& played for Australia.
Tommy I like Suaalii & hope he becomes as good or if not better than Latrell but I doubt it.
Cobbo is the closest thing to Latrell, he can be anything.

Its hard for wingers to create space. They're defended by a sideline.

It's totally different to the opportunities you might create at centre. Let's just see how he goes there before passing too much judgement.

And remember he's only 19. I sincerely hope he stays because he'll be twice the player he is now in 2 years time.

He has the fundamentals, physical gifts and football skills to be truly special.

I also recall some fans wrote Latrell off at 19 and said he wasn't as good as GI. Well imo he has in time proven himself to be GIs equal.

Latrell won two comps early but that was as part of maybe the greatest NRL era team ever assembled.

He contributed enormously to those titles for sure. He gave us an aura which we haven't replaced. But judging players solely on Premierships won can be deceptive.

I mean Jerome Luai has won 2 comps to Cody Walkers zero. But Walker is a much better footy player imo so it's not the main criteria to judge a player in a team sport.

Again, just remember what Latrell was at 19. He was even dropped by Robbo at one stage in 2017. Suaalii has all the basics downpat and IF he stays in the game I anticipate that he'll explode and take huge leaps from here.

But even then you're right he may not prove as good as Latrell (though still a better professional and teammate) because Latrell is a true once in a generation genius.

Don't agree. Luai is 2x Cody Walker as a footy player imho.

But both are equal at being obnoxious.

One position Suaalii will never reach Latrells heights at will be as a left centre, I really don't understand this switch for him and I've both read Robbo and Keary quoting his right hand ball carry and the issue with it on that side of the field along with he doesn't have any footwork off his left.
The Titans have a new centre Schoup who looks really good on the right but whilst he was at the dogs they played him left centre and he didn't show much, looks like they are making the same mistake with Alamotti.
It's not the 70s where we had inside and outside centres, the players not being in their best position to suit their natural athleticism is a waste of ability as far as I'm concerned.
I just hope I don't see Allen and Paulo together again on our right edge this season.
Hopefully if the Suaalii to left centre doesn't work out it doesn't take as long as the Keary/Walker halves swap to be reversed.

Well, after 17 minutes in a trial, Bondi Boy has declared that “the experiment is a failure”. Are you suggesting he lacks patience?
