What rumour?

Some have speculated that we are doing a swap deal Newcastle with Young & Momo. It is unclear where this started, but it is completely unsubstantiated. It appears to be related to the fact that Momo hasn't been seen in any of the NZ Camp photo's or trials.

FWIW, I believe he has had a back problem which has kept him out of action, and is still a number of weeks away from being able to play .... but let's not let that get in the way of a good story.

I hope you’re right. Thought last year was the first time he showed signs of slipping. A bit slower. Some lazy tackles. I would absolutely let him leave here on his terms though if I was running the joint. He’s in my top 10 Roosters ever

The Roosters have signed Lui Lee, the brother of Brenko and the cousin of Edrick, who is a 2022 Queensland schoolboy representative (14-15 years) who plays centre and who supposedly “has a big step just like his older brother”.
