Rumour/story around Angus and leave from the club

Can we not turn this thread into speculation about illicit drugs with arguments about whether or not they are bad?

All I care about is our players' welfare. If a guy's out with mental health challenges (for which he's been actively seeking help for some time without our knowledge as it's his private medical shyte that we don't need to spread rumours about as if we're all suddenly little gurus) then that's all I need to know and I'm proud of him for taking positive steps.

Oh yeah I've seen those one's. When he said two of our younger star's I thought it was different to the one's I read.

They are screenshots of apparent text convos from someone in the know at the club (doesn't specify who) and it goes on a spiel about how Angus got so fried by taking acid/shrooms in Europe that he turned up to first training of the year in a Souths jersey and asked where Madge was and didn't know who Robbo was. Obviously its so over the top and tongue in cheek that it becomes almost humorous and clearly not true.

Then says something about how he contributed to the team meetings by discussing planets and the solar system and made everyone confused. The remainder of the text says something about JS taking substances with him on the trip (no pun intended) but provides no evidence of this nor goes in to any more detail.

Seriously don't know why some blokes are hush hush like they are in the know and don't want to spill. They have been doing the rounds on FB and are easy to find. I just thought there were even more given some posters have over-explained the severity of the rumors. I think anyone who has read or seen the screenshots can clearly tell its BS and almost satirical to a point. Its fake news. It's highly likely Angus is suffering from the result of a break-up or some other personal issue and needs time away. The rumors don't help but when they are that outlandish and almost comedic i'm pretty sure most take with a grain of salt.

Good post and you are right it is ridiculous and makes no sense. From my experience there is a big difference between shroom and LSD. But as you say it is obviously satire but has been taken at face value.
