The latter. Pronounce it if it were French - or how Robbo would say it

                    Indeed.

                    183cm
                    110kg
                    Age 22
                    Muscular, powerful runner, can tackle.
Big, just like all the big players on show for the Storm last night.

Bellamy obviously believes in "big is better".
Egan Butcher, Radley, Baker etc could do with some muscular weight gain.

Just listened to Jimmy Graham & the Cheese on a podcast and the Cheese is chuffed with the reported signing. Said Leinu’s quick play the balls is a hookers dream.

Those selfish Roosters are at it again in a 'big money poaching raid' on poor Penrith..oh and we swoop too apparently...I thought that was for magpies, not Roosters..

‘The Roosters are the pinnacle’: Leniu on why he’s leaving Penrith - Source SMH

Spencer Leniu has hailed the Roosters as “the pinnacle of the NRL” but admitted he was in anguish telling Ivan Cleary he was leaving the Panthers to “get outside his comfort zone”.

In his only interview since becoming the latest Penrith star to leave the club amid big-money poaching raids, Leniu admitted he was desperate for a new challenge after “never being further east than Blacktown”.

The 22-year-old told his Penrith teammates last week he was joining Bulldogs-bound Stephen Crichton in heading for the exit at the end of the year. He will be the 11th player from their last two 18-man squads on grand final night to leave the Panthers.

“The decision was purely based on the benefit of me and progressing my career,” Leniu said. “I felt like I had to get out of my comfort zone and try something new and challenge myself. That was the most important thing to making the decision.

“There are a lot of other things I took into consideration. Trent [Robinson] is a really good coach and the Roosters have been the pinnacle of the NRL for a number of years. There was an opportunity there for me and he explained what he sees in me and how I can impact that team.

“Western Sydney is my home and I’ve never really been further than Blacktown. Moving to the east will be a difficult transition, but I’m looking forward to it.”

Leniu is expected to fill the huge void left by Roosters warhorse Jared Waerea-Hargreaves, who is likely playing his last season in the NRL. The Roosters have also been boosted by the news that Joseph Suaalii has agreed to extend his stay at the club, a day after their shock loss to the Dolphins.

Leniu and his management had spoken to the Panthers during negotiations about increasing his minutes. His path to being a starter is blocked by international duo James Fisher-Harris and Moses Leota.
“The plan is to build those minutes and eventually get into that starting position,” Leniu said. “I understand this front-row position is a very difficult one in the game, but I’m just biding my time and when the time’s right, the time’s right.

“That week we had off was one of the most stressful times in my career so far. Definitely telling the boys was really hard, but it was a lot of weight off my shoulders after I told them. They all understood, so it was all good.

“It was pretty crazy the last time I had to make my decision to re-sign with this club I was pretty stressed out. I asked the boys [Crichton, Jarome Luai and Brian To’o] to go to dinner. All of them were in the same boat.

“We thought, ‘we need to make a sacrifice and represent our family and community. We’ll have a crack at winning a premiership’. It’s funny, the last two years we’ve won premierships and I sat down for dinner with them again and let them know [about going to the Roosters] and they were fully supportive of me and my decision.

“I’m really grateful for those guys.”

The Bulldogs had also registered interest in Leniu, but didn’t table a formal offer as the Roosters swooped. He will join Newcastle winger Dominic Young as the tricolours’ big recruits for 2024.

But there was no harder task for Leniu than telling coach Cleary he had signed elsewhere, particularly after idolising the coach as a teenage Warriors fan.

“I asked him to give me a call and he brushed me for a couple of days,” Leniu joked. “No, it was all good.

“I was born in New Zealand and back then he was the only coach I knew. He took the Warriors to a grand final and he gave me my first opportunity. I’m truly grateful for everything he’s done for me in my career so far.

“It was a really good conversation I had with him. He understood it was a good time for me to transition. He’s been very supportive of me, and we had some nice words to say to each other.

“It would be crazy to finish my career here on a high note and win another premiership.”

He's a sexist clown and proud of it so being a culturally insensitive clown is natural business for him

Not sure what’s happening lately with our signings. He gives this interview but it’s not officially announced by the Roosters. Same with Dom Young , not officially announced yet. Also Brandan Smith went on a podcast before the Roosters announced his signing last year. Roosters media team need to work on this !!
