Egan Butcher extends deal at Easts

Very happy that we have extended Egan and agree with Gus out that he can do some damage on that edge outside of Keary and he has a very good combination running off Radley. He's tough and a good hole runner with ball skills which we haven't had in the 2nd row for quite awhile and he's a solid defender.

I love his aggression in both defence and attack....just needs to improve his concentration with the ball handling.

That's exactly how I feel about Egan Butcher.

That's a HUGE call. Boyd was a star who played first grade straight after he turned 19. origin and Australia before 22, which is Egan's age right now. I hope Egan does great, but let's keep it real.
