I spent a 1000 years in Mudgee one weekend. Visiting the ex's mother there.

A lovely woman whose charms (or lack thereof) were only outweighed by her ability to drink her body weight in alcohol. I almost felt sympathy for my ex's father, who HATED my guts.

Don't get me wrong Vasco, I'm not one to sugar-coat a poor performance or 4. Boyd this year has disappointed me with his silly error rate. It must be huge by now. However, he's still extremely young and as you get older the drop-balls and silly mistakes start to disappear ... for the good players that is. The Brad Tessman's of the NRL are forever doomed to catch passes with their heads for their whole career. But my crystal ball tells me that Boyd is one of the rare ones. Believe me, he's really pissed me off this year ... but i see a light at the end of the tunnel with him so to speak. Do you see it in him too or not ?

I'm totally with you, not only is he an awesome player but he is a really good guy as well. Him and Takarangi are best mates and have been playing footy together since they were kids. Hopefully Smith will give him a shot sooner rather than later.

I'm assuming he's on the extended bench for this week just in case Guerra does not pass a fitness test. You'd think that Taka & Tasi are certainties, while Ant & Morts would be bracketed. At least we now know he's close to a call up, even if he doesn't get on this week. I'm looking forward to seeing him... something tells me he may just turn out to be a very good player.
