Maybe the loss to St Helens wasn't an aberration after all,
Panthers looked fairly ordinary
broncos top 4 side this year.
Great pick up for Dolphins in snagging Herbie for 2024.
Regardless, I'm still wanting a Roosters-Panthers GF, with Hutchinson making a try saving tackle over the sideline, to win the game for the Roosters. that tackle then immortilised into folklore.

Very, very hard to get 2 in a row much less threepeat in a tough, physical, professional contact sport. The history of the NRL and NFL proves this. Which makes Parras threepeat and our doubles in 74-75 and just recently extremely remarkable. Much easier to have dynasties in cricket, basketball, soccer or VFL or even amateurish rugby union.

I can’t see Penrith winning 3 in a row they have lost a couple of key players that would have won them that game last night if they were still there.
I know it’s early days but I’m going to go on the record & say the Broncos if they keep that side fit will be a top 5 side. That Broncos side is a top side IMO they have a top forward pack & strike in the backs, wait till Reece Walsh is at the back. Cobbo, Fairworth, Hass, Riki, Carrigan, Oats, Staggs, Mam, Reynolds & Capewell are top notch.

Tennis players - they are tough and earn their keep. How about the Aussie open final a few years ago between Nadal & Djokevic? Nearly 7 hours and they had to play 6 matches in blistering heat in just 2 weeks before??? Not just physical toughness but mental toughness.
