Its a gambling orediction ..so be it you will win or you will lose.
The credibility I give The riff this year is that are a young enough side..wether they will crash and burn..probably mainly because of the rep shit always affects teams that have a lot of players in them.

I think Penrith will be strong but maybe not top 4, I thought they were quite average in the World Club Challenge and they didn't play a good 80 last night either. Kikau and Api are big losses and were big parts of their premiership wins, they've lost a few good depth players as well (O'Sullivan, Staines) which means they will likely struggle around Origin time.

      If I had to guess I'd say they'll go 5th or 6th.

too early to say. they'll be a contender but they're not odds on favourites, esp if they don't have the luck with injuries they've had for the last couple of years

Forget Penrith. Souffs will definitely be the team to beat in 2023.

Sad, but true. Illias has gone to the next level and they'll be lethal. It doesn't help that they have a massive mental edge over us atm.

They did play well today. But I’ll hold judgement on Ilias & souffs. It’s only the first round, and Cronulla’s defence & discipline were atrocious.

Yes how many mistakes did they make in the final 10 minutes. Souths were very lucky to get Sharks with no Hynes.
