Do you really believe people's reactions are to just this one loss .Or maybe it could actually be the many losses and severe thumpings we have had in the last few years . Surely you can't believe that most are calling for Robbos head when they are really only asking for change of tactics .Better recruitment . Different training regime that may prevent some of the of field injuries. Surely you and others can't be that silly to think that some believe that simply swapping one coach for another is the answer.I know I don't think that and never said that but we have been absolute crap since 2019 for one reason or another andRobbo as the head coach is like the CEO of said company and the buck stops with him .He is responsible and needs to make changes to fix it or simply step aside and appoint someone that can .This isn't a game it's a business and requires continued success and not past glories .

Not sure what games you have been watching since 2019 but they certainly haven't been in your words " absolute crap " since 2019 though

2020 - Top 4 - 2 close finals losses - 29-28 vs Penrith and 22-18 vs Canberra
2021 - made the finals despite the injury toll which was an achievement in it's self - most other teams would have folded up like deck chairs with such an injury list
2022 - made the finals again but a poor finals games - Players lost to HIA's and a couple of players losing the plot in that game.

Just because they don't win a comp every year or every game it doesn't make them a poor side or players nor Robbo a poor Coach who in your words should " simply step aside and appoint someone else "

If you by the sounds of it deem a premiership as the only indicator of a successful season ( i.e your past glories take) then the other 15 teams had poor seasons which of course isn't the case.- maybe those 15 teams need new coaches as well as they could be living on these "past glories" too.

Making the finals is a successful season and even improving on your ladder position from the previous season despite not making the finals is also a successful season.

It's sport and anything can happen and anyone can beat anyone on their day or in a series.

You make so many valid points KS. It's like groundhog day on here sometimes. Every year it's the same people tossing up the same argument re what the definition of success is. Some of our so called 'absolute crap' is still streets ahead of other mediocre teams. We just notice it more because we've been so spoiled over the last 20 years in terms of success that some can't cope with swings and roundabouts.

We still seem to be the club that opposition players want to come to if they could. Just look at the Spencer Lenui article I posted and his comments.

- injuries

Robbo prob only has control over ball control, the others are more cap management / development and training.

The only excuse I ever use for losing in injures. If JWH, Manu, Angus, Watson and Sitili were all playing there’s no way we lose to rubbish Dolphins.

That was for the Documentary, no question. What looks better, a loss or a win for the fourth club debut episode? The Roosters were just the unlucky patsies. Maybe even in on the deal, it's all about television.

Gone are the days of Hugh McGahan bleeding for the cause or all in brawls because Roosters players hated South's players. If there were more Barney Dalton's and less tv trained ponces maybe football would be worth watching.
