I hate to say it but our fanbase is so incredibly soft and spoiled it's hilarious none of you guys would last supporting a team that even remotely goes through hard times.
We seem to be heading downwards with a top roster still. The last few years have been average for a club like us.

The squad is a mixture of talent, promising youngsters and hard workers it isn’t a premiership contender for now

Roosters & nailing the basics just doesn't seem to have worked for a while now.
If we could just hold the damn ball, complete at 80% and bloody tackle the natural talent in the team will just win us games every week anyway.
Saints won a premiership in 2010 by being the most boring team alive and doing the simple shit right. It’s good enough to win 4/5 games on its own

I don't think he should go, but he needs to take some blame. I was at the game and Kafusi and co smashed our forwards. I don't understand the logic in only having 2 forwards on the bench when 3 of your pack are Smith and the 2 Butchers. That's not a real big 3. In fact I can't think of a smaller backrow. Yet he goes with a hooker and centre on the bench. Diabolical. The Butcher boys got bashed.Embrace the Hate! JC

To play devils advocate there was a similar example last year of a questionable bench that I think kick started out run at back end of season - Egan and Watson etc dominating the middle. Food for thought.

I think Robbo is a great coach and don't want him to be sacked but maybe he himself should rethink his strategies, of course I'm nobody to say that to a coach of a decade plus but to me it makes no sense to play as poorly as possible and then gradually get better throughout the year.
The Dolphins were beatable and we still put 18 on them in what was one of the worst games I've seen in a while, the two points come crunch time could be absolutely vital like they almost were last year. No team wins the comp out of the top 4 and every win counts.
Also I do agree with some posters that might think the fire in the belly and motivation isn't there anymore. He's had 9 successful seasons at the Roosters, mentally he might be wanting new challenges or surroundings, only he knows that I guess.

I think some people are missing the point. Apparently wanting your team to win constantly and perform at a high level means your a soft supporter and you need to back a coach or a player as having a higher standing than the club.
Nobody is calling Robbo a bad coach, if you are, you can be rightfully shown the door. But to chastise someone's commitment or dedication to the Chooks for merely questioning Robbo's underachievement is laughable, arrogant and lame. I dont care about Bennett or his record but he has won 7 comps. He has lost his touch big time and can't do anything apart from getting young guns to fire up and bash opposition forwards. The game has passed him by. But at a time he was invincible and considered the best coach. Sheens is another one. Both Bennett and Sheens had unbelievable rosters and won comps with them. Robbo is the same. Both Bennett and Sheens look nowhere near winning a premiership or innovating anything in the game of rugby league anymore so who is to say Robbo isn't slumping to the same thing. Maybe he will bounce back, we'd all love to see it. But the blind worship is idiotic. Questions need to be asked with this squad and the coach based off the last 2 years of coaching.
We are spoilt? Big fkin deal. You watch and play elite sport to win. Just because other clubs are rubbish doesnt mean you need to accept rubbish in your own backyard. We are different and better and should be held to a higher standard.

Bennett started coaching 1987, won his first comp 1992 and last 2010, I.e window of 1 GF win every 3yrs or so but nothing for next 12yrs. Trent 3/10 so similar. No reason Robbo can’t clean up a few more in next 8yrs.
