At 12-6 we went 0/5 sets and during lost Rads to an eye injury and subbed both Collins and Lodge. They crossed 12-12.
To start second half we completely shit the bed and went something like 3/11 sets.
I haven’t gone back and checked actuals but it was around 3-4 completed sets in 15-20 possessions, throughout that period. We won’t do that again. We cannot do that again.

At half time it was clear that we were on the back foot so he should have brought Lindsay on to start the second half as a circuit breaker. But instead he persisted with the reserve graders which gave the Dolphins a shot in the arm.Making Steve Naughton look like Vince Mellars...

It's the Roosters way.
UNLESS, something changes from the past, including last week.
Souths, who get the penalties 9-2 in their favour more often than not, usually score their tries from inside the opposition's 20.
Grubbers, big players running at the line at pace, slick passing, dummies, short passes.
We rarely make it to the opp 20 without bad passes, dropped ball.

We need 100% completions on Sat.
We need to move the ball from side line to side line, then back to the middle, like another poster here said other teams do.

only 30 % left, to cover the remaining 19 players
that's $3.5 million, or less than $200,000 per player
No wonder we have no depth.

And if you think Jared (700), Crichton (750), Radley (700), Sitili (350+), Lodge (??? definitely not anywhere near what he was on at Warriors) and Watson (350) are on a combined 3.6 million…well, let’s call the rest of your post a complete void. I don’t disagree with your comments about poor depth, but your estimations are ridiculously off.Last edited by NorfolkStreetKid; 03-09-2023, 08:34 PM.

If Victor is rested this round (as a precaution due from his head knock), who slots into the starting lock role ?
Would it be worthwhile to consider Hutch starting at lock ? ... big body + keep him in the middle for his defence and service to the halves ?
Bench:- Turps - Utility
- Whyte
- May
- Wong/El-Zakham/Thomas
- Allan - 18th man

Update on twitter from Zac Bailey an NRL presenter
Radley still a chance of playing. He’s undergoing his final test today. - Smith has plenty of stitches but is good to go (probably in a headgear) - Manu will return (also set to be in a headgear) - JWH hopeful of return in round 3
