Unfortunately we are not well coached and lack organisation and discipline. It’s going to be a long year. Major overhaul for next year is required. The warriors are not disciplined either but they will dominate in the forwards and will probably end up with a win.
The Cap is 12.1 million less 650 k for the following (can't find a breakdown of 2023 amounts) - 11.450 million actual players wages for top 30 NRL Squad players
Veteran and Developed Player Allowance for eligible players who were either developed by the Club prior to becoming NRL players and / or have been a Top 30 player for at least 8 years at the Club or have been a Top 30 player for at least 10 years across the game. - 188k in 2022
Motor Vehicle Allowance – a maximum amount of five motor vehicles may be provided to players in the Top 30 outside of the salary cap. - up to 5 motor vehicles.- 94k in 2022
Paid to the RLPA towards players' Retirement Account Contribution. - 300 k in 2022
Paid to the RLPA towards their administration funding.- 100 k in 2022
The cap in 2022 for NRL top 30 players actual wages was 9.118 m and now it is 11.450 million for actual players wages in 2023 an increase of 2.332 million for the 30 player squads
Minimum salary for all male players in a club’s top 30 NRL squad is 120 k - not sure how many are on this wage if any one.
Development contracts actual player wages has increased from 240k to 650k in 2023.
It will be interesting to know how much they have left - I assume new signings and upgrades eat into this additional 2.332 million a fair bit
