A Beetson in Our Ranks

My son who is Bondi United under 13s played against a Souths Iunior club last season and their most impressive player was the Grandson of Arthur Beetson, Billy Beetson. He’s built like a front row forward but runs and steps like a back.

Billy has this season joined Bondi United as he hopes to follow in the footsteps of his grandfather. With recent rule changes in junior league put in place, he’s come to Bondi with the hope being a Roosters junior and eventually progressing through our system.

Imagine cheering on Beetson again. Give it some time and we may have another in our ranks. The kid can play!

Won’t be long before we are cheering for Beetson and Fittler again.

The legacy lives on as another Beetson dons the Tricolours.

Billy Beetson, grandson of Roosters legend and Rugby League Immortal Arthur Beetson, has been selected for the Eastern Suburbs Touch Association (ESTA) representative side, The Eastern Suburbs Roosters.

Despite being only 7 years old, Billy is a stand-out player in the Under 10’s side who recently travelled to Port Macquarie to compete in the New South Wales Junior State Cup.
