I swear, if Lindsay Collins is not the Man of the Match today...

He was excellent today through and through.

Very good, 65th minute, hasn’t had a break and he’s leading the kick chase on a long kick. That’s what you want from your forward leader. Not sure if anyone saw it but during the first drinks break Baker took a knee to rest and Collins told him to stand up, he was switched on today.

Thought Fletcher Baker had a good game too. Carried strong and defended well.

Backs to the wall, embarrassed during the week, forward pack called average..etc..

Played tough & hard & got the job done & restored some.pride.

Didn't have to be better than their forwards, just needed to match them & we did especially after The Cheese played only a small part.

Can't bag anyone today apart maybe Suaalii trying to be a globe trotter at times.

An imortant 2 points. Still way off where we need to be to challenge the top teams, but our starting pack all but injured, then lost Cheese.

Got every chance with calls and bounces going our way today though.

Small highlight for me was young Paulo on the wing. Good dig, looks more confident and focussed than I anticipated.

A good win considering so many forwards out. I thought Whyte went well.
The biggest loser is KAYO - must of stopped 25 times at least.
But those Rabbits will be bloody tough.

I thought Whyte carried well, reminded me a lot of Isaac Liu the way he swerves into the line and makes it really hard for the opposition to get a clean shot on him.

Still some lazy moments in defence though, in particular the penalty he gave away for flopping when he was caught standing 10metres behind the defensive line.

Paulo is carrying the ball from backfield with more conviction than I ever saw from him when he was with Souths. 160 run metres today on top of his two tries was a very good effort.

Collins is amazing.

The ACL and head injuries aren't his fault.

When he is on the field and in rhythm (I.e. not coming back from injuries) he's an absolute weapon.

Well done to the forwards who won us the game today. Collins was fantastic. Baker and Whyte very good.

Sualli needs to play for the team and not try be the hero. That decision to go himself could have been costly.

Very happy with the 2 points. It’s a game we could have lost with all the guys we had out.
