Worst forward pack in the comp walking out today. Collins will have to play 80 minutes.
Backline that leaks tries , easy metres around the ruck , we are in for a bad afternoon.

    I hope I'm wrong.

Just into the second half - possession Roosters 35% vs Warriors 65% - set completions - Roosters 64% (11/17) vs Warriors 80% (16/20)

It is similar in Junior reps the incomplete sets issue with the exception of Tarsha Gale Cup who complete sets in the high 80 to low 90% range each game

28-8 Warriors with 59 minutes played - Vuate Karawalevu 2 tries

Good comeback to no avail due to crucial dropped ball at the worst moments.

Really concerned about our forward pack. Going through the team player by player it was like - great, great, awesome then crap, holy crap, oh no! Warriors no doubt will take us on in the forwards. I expect Suualii to player another great game. Winning will depend on if we can hold onto the ball. We’ve got the backs to crush any team IF they get enough possession. Go Roosters and Go Toups and get closer to your record.

Luke Hodge looked the pick of the forwards, not saying much. New signing?

IMO most of these (including Rads) are probably welfare exclusions and we're playing the long game. Unfortunate but as fans it's be great if people could show some farking patience rather than shyting on us when we're doing it tough.

Our forwards still contain Collins, Smith, Butcher (a future Origin leader IMO) and some up and coming guns who will only get better with experience (e.g. May and Whyte). In addition, our backline is the best in the comp... if not the farking world TBH (which country has a better backline?)

Part of the fun of watching footy is seeing us evolve. Sure it s*x losing, particularly when you KNOW we have the better roster on our books (often one we cannot use due to injuries and all). Be patient though... we WILL come good. And if we don't, then be a fan rather than a hater.
Who's the haters? I was only stating that this weeks pack is one of the worst I've seen in recent memory.

Butcher a future origin leader??? haha...dream on...he is an average lock at best.

Both Penrith and the Bronc's have equal, if not better backlines than us.

We might win today (due to the heat factor mostly) but that won't change the current state of things.

I'm not patient enough to wait another 27 years for a comp...

Suaalii looks to have his left calf strapped pretty heavily.

Better second half from the Roosters NSW Cup side down 28-4 after 46 minutes of play - final score Warriors 30 defeated Sydney Roosters 18.

Certainly an improvement on last week but still a lot of work to do with a side that is very much cobbled together in this transition period in the last year of the agreement with North Sydney Bears

Set completions of 59% won't win you any game no matter who you play

                      Possession - Roosters 40% vs Warriors 60%
                      Set Completions - Roosters 59% ( 22/37 ) vs Warriors 72% ( 26/36)
Line Breaks - Roosters 5 vs Warriors 5 - Vuate Karawalevu - 3 line breaks and 2 tries today
                      Errors - Roosters 16 vs Warriors 10
Penalties Conceded - Roosters 6 vs Warriors 7
Set Restarts Conceded - Roosters 1 vs Warriors 2
                      Defence - Roosters 305 tackles ( 23 missed ) vs Warriors 233 tackles ( 21 missed)

Best for the Roosters in my view were

                      Vuate Karawalevu
                      Siua Wong
                      Luke Hodge
                      Elie El - Zakham
                      Tyler Moriarty
                      Josh Bevan

Why have the players been running around in the energy draining heat for the last 20 mins?

Playing for rooster pride today. Right attitude we can thrash these guys.

Can't really see us winning this unless Manu drags us kicking and screaming. The forward pack is just the worst in the comp today. Not anyones fault, just a horrendous injury toll again.

Hopefully we play overall better football than last week though.

Lil JoJo needs to learn to stay on his man, amd quickly. Teams have figured him out.
