BREAKING - Sydney Roosters have signed Parramatta forward Nathan Brown on a one-year contract. The deal was finalised on Sunday morning after a medical examination at Roosters headquarters.

According to News Corp, Parramatta is chipping in a hefty portion of his salary, having unsuccessfully explored a possible swap deal for Manly’s Morgan Harper in the off-season.

Sounds like the Sharks are taking one of our players so we can make space for Brown - couldn't figure out if it was Tapuha or Toia. I would be surprised if we are moving Toia on unless it's a loan move, Tapuha in his last season for us so makes more sense and a forward.

It's Hau Tapuha the Sharks have signed as Toia is recovering from an ACL injury he sustained playing GPS Rugby in early August 2022.
