JWH has to start. He’s no good off the bench, comes on seeing red & has less self control than usual.

JWH is always a slow starter to the season, every year by Round 5 the Chookpen has him retired, sacked or hung in public.

Looked bad, in his defence because the ball player threw the pass back on the inside Suaalii would’ve had no idea he released the ball as he was coming from inside out and expecting to see the ball released to the outside attackers. Not sure how much consideration will be given to the circumstances of the tackle though.

Suuallii was charged with Dangerous Contact Grade 1 ( leading with knees ) in the finals match last season and was fined $1800 which is a Dangerous Contact Grade 1 second offence fine if you take the early guilty plea.

He received a warming letter 2 weeks prior to this incident for the same thing - I figure the warning letter has been treated as a first offence where the fine is $1500 or $1000 if the player enters an early guilty plea.

Dangerous Contact Grade 1 3rd offence is 2 games or $3000

Dangerous Contact Grade 2 first offence is 2 matches or 1 match if the player enters an early guilty plea

Egan will come good - he was very good last year in my opinion.

Surely the NRL want to see Suaalii vs Souffs.

Itd be stupid to ban him for a minor hit.

Informally I'd be thinking a fine at most?

Real time it looked unnecessary but (IMO) not the sorta thing that results in a penalty (let alone a suspension).

Slow-time I think he was fooled because he couldn't see the ball and assumed the guy (who turned his back to him while doing what he assumed was a pump) still had the ball. He didn't so in real time this resulted in him tackling a guy later from the back.

IMO there was no malice. Careless at worst and I dunno! IMO 9/10 times it's not even a penalty. If he's suspended then I reckon it's stupid.

Potentially you only have another 1500 minutes to go this season
